Satellite Imagery
Satellite imagery of the world, continents and countries at various resolutions at very affordable prices.
Explore our unparalleled collection of high-quality satellite images of the world, meticulously crafted to reveal Earth’s breathtaking beauty and intricate details. At the heart of our offering is the renowned World Satellite map, delivering stunning 1,000-meter (1 km) resolution coverage across the entire planet. This massive dataset spans 43,200 by 21,600 pixels in vibrant 24-bit RGB color, totaling over 2.3 gigabytes of photorealistic imagery. Whether viewed digitally or printed as an impressive 24-foot by 12-foot poster at 150 pixels per inch, these images transform complex geographic data into accessible, visually compelling representations.
Our collection extends beyond the global view with continental satellite imagery for North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Antarctica, and custom 20° x 20° regional tiles. Available in multiple resolutions—from 1 km down to finer scales like 240 meters in specialized projects such as Afghanistan—these images support diverse applications in media, education, broadcasting, exhibitions, and scientific research.

Each image in our collection combines data from advanced Earth observation satellites, processed to minimize cloud cover through an entire year of observations exceeding 30 gigabytes of raw input. Originally designed for weather tracking, these satellites capture surface details through gaps in clouds, which our team enhances using spectral analysis: red and near-infrared wavelengths differentiate land cover types like forests, mountains, deserts, and oceans. Ground-level, aerial, and orbital photography then assign realistic red, green, and blue values, creating natural colors that make features instantly recognizable. Ocean hues derive from depth and chlorophyll data, while polar sea ice comes from individual optical captures. Rivers, coastlines, and terrain gain enhanced definition through digital map overlays and hill-shading from terrain models. The result is a cloud-free, photorealistic mosaic held in an easy-to-use geographical latitude-longitude grid, compatible with ancillary layers such as political boundaries, nighttime lights, and digital terrain for seamless integration in GIS, 3D animations, or multimedia projects.
Our satellite images of the world serve broadcasters, educators, graphic designers, museums, and publishers seeking authentic visuals for television, print, web, and exhibitions. A free 32 km resolution world sample is available for non-commercial testing, while licensed options support single or multiple uses. With two man-years invested and ongoing improvements from new satellite data, this collection offers more than maps—it provides a vivid, alternative perspective on our planet that inspires understanding and creativity.
